As part of the fundraising efforts to Save the Historic Clifton 5 we are offering you the chance to donate a small amount and in exchange have your name permanently attached (via a small plaque) to one of the auditorium seats. We are presently offering seats in auditorium two (the original theater) and will move to another auditorium when all seats in auditorium two have sponsors. A donation of $50 will get your name immortalized on a seat in the center section (seat numbers beginning with 'C' in the seating chart) while a donation of $25 will do the same on either side section (seat numbers beginning with an 'L' or 'R').

To sponsor a seat, download the seating chart and choose your seat(s). The second page of the chart is a sponsorship form which you can fill out prior to delivery at the theater. Seats are considered "taken" only when payment is received so you will need to contact the theater to see if your preferred seats are available. Sponsorships are tax deductible and checks should be made out to Huntingdon Landmarks, Inc. A seat sponsorship is a donation and does not convey any preferential seating for the benefactor. e.g. It is not a reserved seat.

The Clifton 5 has been a part of Huntingdon history for over 100 years. Help keep it alive for another 100 and sponsor one or more seats.

Sometime before the summer of 2013 all of our 35mm film projectors will have to be replaced. The movie companies in the United States have announced that they are ceasing distribution of movies in the 35mm format and will instead only provide films in digital formats. This means that we must replace our film projectors with theater-grade digital projectors The cost to refit our five auditoriums with digital projection equipment will cost approximately $250,000, as you can see by the quote that received from our supplier.

Transitioning to digital projectors is the only way to keep the Huntingdon Cinema Clifton 5 Theatre open, and in order to accomplish this transition we unfortunately will need to have a modest price increase. The result of the conversion will allow the Clifton 5 to continue supplying the community with family entertainment, in beautiful digital clarity.
